We'll discuss managing stress. Much of the time (and without meaning to, of course), we human beings feed into our own stress. We do this by repeating old mental habits that are no longer serving us well. The good news is that habits can be changed!

Whether you're seeking to alleviate distressing symptoms such as anxiety, depression, panic attacks, or intrusive thoughts; navigating relationship dynamics, or seeking to heal from past traumas, I provide a safe and supportive space.
We will explore what changes you would like to make for yourself and create a plan to make it there. Through our work, you'll learn more about yourself, the impact your experiences have had on your life, and what you need to be happy and healthy.

I invite you to be an active participant in your healing journey and, as such, encourage clients to collaborate with me on their goals. My clients appreciate my direct, quirky, culturally sensitive approach and ability to meet them where they are.
Depression, anxiety, life stressors (from society, situations or new life stages) can tire us out. It's hard to keep moving forward. We will help you find ways to get unstuck so you don't have to exhaust yourself by constantly masking your emotions.

The two main approaches I use in my practice are person-centered therapy and self-compassion. It's your life and you have to be the one to decide to do the work to change. I also encourage you to talk to yourself as you would a close friend.
I specialize in wellness approaches using vitamins and minerals and traditional Western medicine options. I'm goal-oriented and want clients who like to develop a relationship with their provider. I like to make appointments about your goals!
