My therapeutic approach is grounded in a person-centered approach, however I also love to use techniques from Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Together, we will work on finding meaning and purpose in your life, managing anxiety and ruminating thoughts, overcoming various types of trauma, and working on relationship issues.

I believe in taking a person centered approach, because my clients have so much inner wisdom and power already. I am there to help you uncover what is already there.
Together we will explore the emotions you are experiencing and try to figure out the core of where these feelings derive from. Through this experience we will work together to find coping skills that can align with your life during times of stress.

I will not pretend to be an expert on your life because the only person who truly knows your story is YOU. I aim to provide a space where problem-solving, strengths, and motivations can be explored together.
I approach therapy through a systemic lens: I believe our history, culture, community, and relationships are integral parts of understanding current experience. In broadening the scope to view these systems we also deepen our understanding of self.

I walk the road of healing with clients, giving them the tools and confidence to choose their preferred paths. I believe strongly in a client-centered approach that honors client agency in choosing therapeutic goals and outcomes.
