I like to use stories about others' experience, or even my own, to relate to what we're trying to describe or process. I don't mind self disclosing if I know it can help you. I prefer a shared and connected experience. No hierarchy.

I am open-minded and progressive, intent on helping all clients feel comfortable and get the most out of the therapy process. Therapy should be a safe, non-judgmental space for all and I strive to make that a priority in our therapeutic relationship.
Narrative therapy will be used to treat clients who have experienced trauma and relationship issues. I will also be using Emotional Focused Therapy with couples, Pragmatic Experiential Therapy, and IFS.
