Counseling is a highly individualized process, and what works for you may not work for someone else. We use a variety of theoretical approaches and techniques to help you. There is no one size fits all approach to counseling.
We'll discuss managing stress. Much of the time (and without meaning to, of course), we human beings feed into our own stress. We do this by repeating old mental habits that are no longer serving us well. The good news is that habits can be changed!

Grounded in reality therapy and choice theory, our sessions become a collaborative journey toward self-discovery and personal agency. Together, we explore the choices available to you and work towards a proactive mindset that facilitates change.

My approach is rooted in the interconnected nature of mind and body to support wellbeing. I interweave somatic techniques with evidenced-based practices to support you in cultivating body awareness, attuning to feelings, and transforming distress.
I work from a person-centered lens that values compassion, empathy, and validation. Our work together will be focused on what makes you unique.

Therapy can seem like an intimidating process, but my goal is to offer a safe and warm environment where you feel comfortable experiencing your story. As the expert of your own reality, I am here to help you towards solutions that feel right to you.
