From the first session, we help you get clarity about how to move forward and start feeling better. We are smart, compassionate, thoughtful/active listeners. Ellen, David and I are experienced and use several modalities (CADC, EMDR, CBT, ACT, etc)

I think of mental health problems as natural: they arise when the mind's default settings aren't a good fit for your situation. So our approach is functional and skills-based: learning new mental habits so you can steer more effectively.

My approach is guided by your comfort level. I will always go at your pace while working together but I will always provide guidance and direction if you are unsure where to start or how to move forward in therapy.
