My goal is to provide a safe, authentic, and collaborative space for you to better understand yourself and your goals, determine what is working for you and what may not be, and for you to feel emboldened to approach life in new and meaningful ways!
Get curious about the present, explore the past, and develop a plan for the future. You will acquire new coping and communications skills, learn to change unhelpful thoughts, improve relationships, and come to understand yourself in a deep way.

I use an integrative approach heavily influenced by Internal Family Systems (IFS), EFT, and CBT that offers a comprehensive approach to address emotional, relational, and cognitive aspects, promoting well-rounded healing and personal growth.
Work together to develop treatment goals that are tailored to your unique needs and lifestyle. We can achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan.

I work with you to meet your needs using a Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) approach and utilize my advanced training in the Gottman Method as well as Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) for working with couples navigating their relationship.
I am a client-centered therapist but I do not sit in silence - I am active and will "be with you" in whatever you bring to therapy. I won't share much about myself, but I promise to be human with you. We will work toward what is most important to you

I use humor when appropriate and don't assign random "homework" just because in therapy - I do however recommend activities, books, and podcasts for use in between sessions when appropriate and specific to a client's goals.
Get to know your presenting issues, where they come from, how they serve (and don't really serve) you, and find a path forward. We will also understand your feelings and how you can cope with them in the moment.

I am actively committed to helping clients learn more about themselves. I don’t just sit and listen. I talk and ask thought-provoking questions. I offer new perspectives while also offering time to reflect together.
