My counseling style is pretty laid back. I have been described as supportive, caring, and compassionate, with a pretty good sense of humor.
I focus on identifying client strengths and helping to maximize them to overcome their obstacles. I help clients sort through the things that are difficult right now and offer them a safe place to be open and honest without fear of judgment.
My job is to help clients be more successful at targeting any problems that have come up for them at that point. To do this, I spend time getting to know clients through a snapshot of their life; what's working well and what's not working so well.
