I am an empathetic, compassionate, and curious individual who is dedicated to fostering a therapeutic space that is safe and nonjudgemental.
I utilize narrative therapy along with systems and trauma lenses to help clients explore their lives and work toward their unique goals. I help clients gain further insight into themselves, tap into their strengths, and live more authentically.
I am committed to using my skills to help clients in their journey toward growth and healing. The therapeutic journey can be a transformative path toward empowerment, discovery, and positive change. I am warm but will also challenge a client.
My areas of interest and specialization include anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment disorders, grief and loss, panic attacks, and identity exploration. I work with individuals, kiddos, teens, couples, and families. I am also trained in EMDR.
I have seen through my own experiences how necessary safe social support is. It is something that everyone deserves at all points in life.
Austin Counseling and Trauma Specialists prides itself on inclusion and having many therapists being trauma-informed.
My hobbies include camping, hiking, yoga, and traveling to new places. I also enjoy meeting new people and spending time with friends. My love for nature and being active is integrated into my practice through the use of somatics and ecotherapy.
