My clients describe me as warm, encouraging, and understanding. Clients often say I help them view life through a different point of view.
My goal in therapy is for you to feel comfortable and safe. I prioritize having a therapeutic relationship with my clients so when you are ready to explore your needs, I can help you learn new tools for communication and identify unhealthy patterns.
Together, we will explore your identity and understand how it relates to relationships and family dynamics. We will work together to create a safe space to practice communication styles, increase positive coping skills, and manage emotions.
I specialize in working with individuals with a anxiety and family dysfunction. I help my clients sort through the relationships in their lives and find health ways to show up for themselves and deepen their understanding of self.
I became a therapist so that I can offer a safe space for others to share their emotions and vulnerabilities and not feel shamed.
As a trained play therapist, I will often add play and humor to my adult sessions in a way that feels safe and fun for clients to share.
I love working with individuals from a multicultural background that have experienced a big change in their life, who are looking for ways to better cope and manage everything that comes with transition.
