My clients describe me as someone who provides a safe and supportive space. As someone who shows up authentically and gives the space to be heard.
I am a licensed clinical social work associate with a concentration in mental health. When working with clients, I pull from approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, affirmative therapy, systems theory, and a strengths-based approach.
I understand that life’s challenges can happen to anyone, at any age, and if you let me, I am happy to work through these challenges alongside you. I know that therapy can feel intimidating at times, but together, we will navigate through it.
As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am particularly passionate about working with members of the LGBTQ+ community and strive to be a kind and supportive presence in each person's individual path.
I am a therapist because I believe that mental health resources should be accessible to all and I believe in providing a safe space to every human.
As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I have some similar lived experience that provides a different advantage than some of my peers!
I am currently available for in-person sessions in Cornelius, NC, or virtually. We take out-of-pocket and insurance. Reach out today to connect with me! I cannot wait to meet you!
