I'm provide a warm and safe place to share vulnerably. I offer a compassionate ear paired with perspective and thoughtful reflections.
I value looking at a person in a holistic way and address each aspect: body, soul, and spirit. I integrate Christian faith when it is desired by the client. I have a trauma informed approach and utilize leading treatments to bring long-term healing.
I find it most helpful to be client-focused. This means that you are the expert of your story and though I provide clinicial expertise, you know you best. That said, we will focus on topics and issues that you find most pertinent while together.
I enjoy working with people who are looking for long-term change and healing. I offer coping strategies, but love to work with people who want to look at the "root" of the problem and not just the "fruit" of the problem.
I have seen the blessing of good therapists as well as the short-falls of a bad fit. I want to provide a space that facilitates healing and growth.
Often people talk about how nice is it to have a therapy dog in sessions with them. My pup, Selah, is a huge benefit to doing therapy with me.
I mentioned Christian faith in an earlier prompt, but I see clients from all backgrounds. I understand the brokenness of church hurt and am honored to journey with you wherever you may find yourself in faith.
