I come from a family of teachers and so ensuring my clients know what is going on in therapy comes as second nature. After all, I may be the mental health professional but you are the expert in your own life and your input and understanding matters.

Learn and contextualize how polyvagal theory, attachment theory, and behavioral theory have combined to make your unique self and how this dictates your interactions in your world. Then we will work to move beyond this so your life can be yours.

Are so used to hitting such a high bar that to "give up" that sense of accomplishment feels akin to losing part of themselves.
