Clients have described me as compassionate, supportive, honest, intuitive, and a good listener, amongst other wonderful descriptors.
I approach therapy in a collaborative way; helping those I service to build context of their experiences to aid in creating new reflections and empower the change process. REBT (Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy) is often integrated within sessions.
We will visit your current and past experiences and incorporate grace for self and potentially others, and acceptance of where you have been and where you would like to go, while also noticing how the body responds as you process.
I work well with those that are high functioning and seeking to make lasting changes by exploring their past and current experiences. Those that are ready to try new strategies usually find themselves with new skills and a renewed empowerment.
I believe that the road of personal growth doesn't have to be traveled alone and that therapy can be a healthy space for connection while growing.
Currently sessions are offered virtually. Many clients like having the ability to talk in a space that feel comfortable them and skipping the commute.
I enjoy incorporating holistic activities and approaches to the experience. I believe well-being is fostered through many avenues that reach beyond talk therapy. Being present in our mind and body simultaneously helps us live more fully.
