My clients describe me as caring and nurturing, but I do have an expectation that homework be completed prior to our sessions.
Something to know about my approach is that you will be required to complete the short weekly homework assignments. This gives us a platform to help guide your next session, and continue to work toward our stated goals outlined in your first session
Together, we will work through your current grief. We may need to delve into your past relationships in order to make progress with your current grief situation. This discussion may occasionally be uncomfortable, but it is necessary.
I specialize in working with people who are experiencing grief due to a loss – of a family member, pet, relationship, job, or whatever. Grief can take many forms.
I became a grief therapist when I experienced losses without the proper tools to cope and learned I was not alone, and it is never too late to heal.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy: My office in Northwest Fishers is accessible by most Indianapolis and north suburban residents
More about me and my practice: Ray of Hope Counseling, LLC has been in business since before Covid. Prior to my fulltime work as a grief therapist, I worked many years as a licensed clinical social worker in the medical field.
