I've been described as bringing a calm presence to the therapy room. I'm open and validating, while also encouraging you to work towards your goals.
I aim to create a safe space to hold and honor your emotions and experiences, while also providing you with coping tools to help you process emotions, get some distance from your thoughts, increase self-compassion and help you engage with your life.
Together we will come up with a plan to meet your goals. Whether that's decreasing anxiety you've been feeling since having a baby or improving your sleep, we will collaboratively find solutions that work for you.
I specialize in working with people who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma symptoms when coping with fertility-related stressors, when pregnant, and during the postpartum period. I also specialize in improving difficulty sleeping.
I became a psychologist because I've always loved connecting with and helping others.
I typically use a blend of different therapy modalities, depending on your goals, preferences, and past therapy experiences (we can think about what worked well for you in your previous therapy - and what didn't!).
