My clients say I'm easy to work with, warm and compassionate. I start where YOU are, listening to what you need in a safe non-judgemental space.
My approach is non-pathological, focusing on your strengths and building our goals from there. I want to help you figure out what you want in the future. Therapy is based on your needs, utilizing my decades of experience.
Since I have been a clinician for over 35 years, we can work on the issues that are important to you. The past is important, but more important is where you are now and what you want in the future. Therapy is at your pace.
I can help you with transitions: a new relationship, ending a relationship, job concerns, separation, divorce, parenting, stopping addictions, gender identity transitions, family issues, loss. And all the feelings that arise.
I always knew I wanted to be a therapist; in college Psychology, then a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.
Clients can come in-person to my Berkeley office or have remote sessions by zoom or phone or a combination of both in-person and remote therapy.
Welcome to my practice! You’ll find me supportive and understanding with an interactive style, offering questions and reflections to guide you in handling your challenges and making changes you desire with a safe place to explore your concerns.
