The client often does not know what they need or want, so we begin with the symptoms that brought them in and then as clues come up, I follow them. The symptom is the river, and we then follow the tributaries as each one reveals more.

look at the client's life in the present and past and hope and goals for the future. If desired, we will discuss their spiritual life, relationships, family of origin, ACE'S (Adverse Childhood Experiences), identity, fears, phobias and triggers.
